What documents are required?

To apply for a job, you must submit the following documents:

→ Curriculum vitae

→ Copies of training certificates (specialist training/care course, German courses, first aid course, etc.)

→ Copies of personal documents (identity card, birth certificate, criminal record extract - not older than three months).

Attention! In principle, no professional training is required to provide personal care.

Exception: In the event that the family wishes to apply for the care allowance, carers must demonstrate one of the following specialist skills and professional experience:

→ a training certificate (training similar to home help)

or

→ proof of (at least) six months' experience in personal care

or

→ proof of carrying out certain nursing or medical activities following instruction and under the supervision of a qualified carer

In order to provide good care, it makes sense to have a good command of German.
