I would like to change jobs. („Standortverlegung“)

Any relocation of the business location must be reported to the competent district administrative authority of the new location (district authority, municipal authority of the city, the municipal district office in Vienna) in order to update the location of your business.

The district administrative authority is responsible for deregistration.

The Social Insurance for the Self-Employed (Sozialversicherung der Selbständigen (SVS)) and the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber (Wirtschaftskammer Österreich (WKO)) will be informed automatically. Alternatively, you can also carry out the change of location electronically (online) at www.gisa.gv.at

Attention!

• The re-registration of your place of residence does NOT automatically lead to the relocation of your business. You must register the latter separately. You will be informed of the successful registration of the new location by post or e-mail.
• The relocation must be registered with the relevant trade authority in good time. Backdating the relocation is generally NOT permitted.
