How do I properly document live-in care activities?

The budget book

All expenses incurred on behalf of the cared-for person must be recorded in the budget book. Both the budget book and any receipts and vouchers must be kept for a period of two years. A copy of the budget book or receipts must be presented for reimbursement at the request of the cared-for person or their relatives.

Documenting your care activities

You must thoroughly and regularly document the care services provided and the health status of the person being cared for, and be able to make this documentation available to the contracting partners and health care professionals caring for and treating the person being cared for.
